RODO

As of 25 May 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (commonly referred to as “RODO”) is in force. RODO will apply to an identical extent in all countries of the European Union, thus also in Poland, and introduces a number of changes to the rules governing the processing of personal data, which will affect many areas of life, including the use of online services, such as, among others, the services of POLORTO TOMASZ STEFAŃCZYK In this information, we present a summary of the most important issues concerning the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of our services. With whom can we share data?

In accordance with applicable law, we may pass on your data to entities processing them on our behalf, e.g. subcontractors of our services and entities entitled to obtain data on the basis of applicable law, e.g. courts or law enforcement agencies – of course, only if they make a request based on an appropriate legal basis.

What are cookies?

Cookies are text files that are stored on the user’s terminal device (web browser) in order to recognise the device so as to be able to provide functionalities such as e.g. shopping cart, login. Cookies do not cause any damage to the device on which they are stored.

Cookies are used on this website, for the following purposes:

  • maintaining the user’s session on the website after logging in, so that there is no need to enter a login and password on each subpage visited by the user. The “cookies” used for this purpose are only stored until the session of the browser in question has ended. They are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
  • to enable the functioning of the “shopping cart” mechanism, which remembers the products added to it, without having to add them to the shopping cart again each time the user goes to another subpage. The “cookies “used for this purpose may be stored for longer than the current session of the user’s browser in order to be able to remember and restore, if the browser is closed, the products that the user has added to the shopping cart.
